4 tips for a smooth start to your holiday:
- Before you leave: Equip your car. Snow and ice can make mountain roads dangerous. If you don't have snow tires, leave with chains or socks in your trunk. Equipping your car is an obligation in Savoie, and chains may be mandatory in the event of heavy snowfall. Planning to park outdoors? Don't forget a scraper to remove frost from your windscreen and a shovel, as it may be necessary to clear snow from around your vehicle on the spot. Of course, it's a good idea to check the general condition of your car (windshield, battery, windshield washer fluid and antifreeze coolant, etc.).
- During your journey: Listen to the La Plagne 101.5 FM radio station for the latest news and road conditions. They also broadcast the slope weather, local information and a lively music program to get you skiing on the right foot.
- On arrival: Don't delay in collecting your ski equipment. You've reserved your equipment in one of our stores... We recommend that you pick it up as soon as you arrive in the resort, to avoid waiting in the store at the end of the day on weekends. Our team is already looking forward to welcoming you!
